Goh Pai Light in Lat. 12° 56′ N. Long. 100° 40′ E. has been relit.

This cancels Notice to Mariners No. 254 of the 6th December, 1939.

PORT SWETTENHAM APPROACH SOUTH KLANG STRAIT.

Alteration in character of light on Pintu Gedong Beacon. Position Lat. 02° 54′ N. Long. 101° 15' E.

Details. The character of the white light will be altered from a white flash every five seconds to a white flash every nine seconds i.e. flash two seconds eclipse seven seconds. Visibility will remain the same.

Date of alteration on or about the 14th December, 1939.

THAILAND (SIAM)—BANGKOK BAR PREDGING OPERATION.

With reference to Notice to Mariners No. 234/1939, since 22nd November, 1939, six additional can buoys painted red have been laid in connexion with the work as follows:

(1) In the same line and at an equal distance apart as the former notice (three buoys laid in line of bearing 036°, each 500 metres apart. The central buoy lies 1,850 metres 222° from the Bangkok Bar Light-house), two of the buoys have been laid north- ward, and one southward.

(2) In a line of the same bearing (036°), at a distance of 85 metres westward of (1) above, three buoys have been laid at a distance of 1,250 metres apart.

Caution.-Mariners are requested to navigate with special care when passing the

locality.
