NOTICE OF FIRING PRACTICE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
DEFENCES (FIRING AREAS) ORDINANCE, 1936.
1. Light gun firing practice will be carried out between the hours of 6.00 p.m. and 10.00 p.m. on 23rd, 24th and 27th October, 1939.
Firing Area "E" will be affected.
2. Light gun firing practice will be carried out between the hours of 10.00 a.m. and 2.00 p.m. on 24th October, 1939 and between the hours of 6.00 p.m. and 10.00 p.m. on 26th October, 1939.
Firing Area "A" will be affected.
3. In accordance with sub-section 4 of section 4 of the Defences (Firing Areas) Ordinance, 1936, masters of vessels and pilots of aircraft exempt from the operation of this Ordinance under section 10, are warned to assist in the carrying out of the firing practice by hastening through the firing area affected, or by consenting to be towed out of the firing area, if necessary, by any vessel acting under the orders of the Military Authorities.

1. Firing practice will be carried out from MOUNT DAVIS Area at 10 a.m. on 24th October, 1939.
Firing Area. "D" will be affected.
2. Light gun anti-aircraft practice will be carried out between the hours of 9.00 a.m. and 2.00 p.in. on 26th October, 1939.
Alternative date--3rd November, 1939.
