No. S. 252.-It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in quadruplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for undergrowth clearing, 1939", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 26th day of June, 1939, for cutting and clearing undergrowth and brushwood for the Botanical and Forestry Depart- ment during 1939.
For forms of tender, specifications and further particulars apply at the Office of the Botanical and Forestry Department.
No tender will be considered unless the person tendering produces a receipt to the effect that he has deposited with the Accountant-General the sum of $50 as a pledge of the bona fides of his offer, which sum shall be forfeited to the Crown if such person shall refuse to carry out his tender, should his tender be accepted.
The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.
