NOTICES TO MARINERS.

No. 75/1939.

HONG KONG HARBOUR.

Cross Harbour Pipe Lines.

On the 4th June, 1939, and until further notice, a crane lighter with two Junks alongside will be working within an area bounded by the following positions :-

Long. 114° 9'564′′ E.

Lat. 22° 17′ 26!" N. 2. Lat. 22° 17′ 291" N. 3. Lat. 22° 17' 33" N. 4. Lat. 22° 17' 36" N.

Long. 114° 9' 53 E.

Long. 114° 10' 4" E. Long. 114° 10' 1" E.

The crane lighter will display by day a red flag and by night a green light over a white light.

Masters of all passing vessels are warned to keep well clear of these craft and to proceed as slow as possible compatible with the safety of their vessels.

An obstructed area exists bounded by the following positions:----

Thence to Queen's Pier.

These positions will be marked by small cylindrical red buoys. All craft are for- bidden to pass over this area.

Notice to Mariners No. 66/1939 will be cancelled on the above coming into force.

No. 77 of 1939.

Under the powers conferred by Ordinance No. 10 of 1899, it is hereby notified that the western side of Queen's Pier will be closed to all vessels as from 5th June, 1939, and until further notice.
