No. S. 237.--It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in triplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for Supply Mains for Kowloon Chai Service Reservoir ", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 12th day of June, 1939. The work consists of the supply of 24" dia. M. S. pipes and Specials.
As security for the proper performance of the works under this contract, the successful tenderer will be required to deposit, in cash, a sum of $5,000 with the Accountant-General.
Any tenderer may be required as a condition of the consideration or acceptance of his tender to supply full particulars of the constitution of his firm.
No work will be permitted on Sundays.
For form of tender, specification and further particulars apply at this Office.
The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.

No. S. 238.—It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in triplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for Temporary Female Prison, Lai Chi Kok, Kowloon, Proposed Additions", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 19th day of June, 1939. The work consists of making extensions to Staff Quarters, Dormitory Block, and Reception Block, together with all necessary drainage work, etc.
As security for the proper performance of the works under this contract, the successful tenderer will be required to deposit, in cash, a sum of $3,000 with the Accountant-General.
Any tenderer may be required as a condition of the consideration or acceptance of his tender to supply full particulars of the constitution of his firm.
