On the 14th May, 1939, and until further notice, dredging, diving, rubble depositing and pipe laying operations will take place within two areas bounded by the following positions which will be marked by small cylindrical red buoys. All shipping is for- bidden to pass over these areas :-

SUPREME COURT.

No. 367. It is hereby notified for general information that, pursuant to section 5 of the Criminal Procedure Ordinance, 1899, His Honour the Chief Justice has ordered that the next Criminal Sessions for the despatch of the business of the Court shall be held on Wednesday, the 17th day of May, 1939, at 9.30 o'clock in the forenoon.

TREASURY.

No. S. 181---Tenders are invited for the lease of the World Theatre situated at Des Voeux Road Central on Inland Lot No. 2323 for a period of three years commencing 1st September, 1939.

Tenders must be lodged with the Accountant-General at the Treasury (2nd floor, G.P.O. Building) under seal not later than 12 Noon of Monday, 15th May, 1939.

Tenderers must produce with each tender a receipt that they have deposited with the Accountant-General the sum of Dollars Two thousand ($2,000) as a pledge of the bona fides of their tender, which sum shall be forfeited to the Crown, if any Tenderer fails or refuses to carry out his tender, should such tender be accepted. The deposit shall be returned to any Tenderer whose tender is not accepted.

The form of tender and particulars of the terms of the lease may be obtained on application to the Accountant-General.

The Government does not bind itself to accept the highest or any tender.
