No. 1183. It is hereby notified for general information that on and after the 14th December, 1939, the Assessment Department will occupy the Ground Floor of No. 17, Queen's Road Central, Marina House.

IN THE POLICE COURT AT VICTORIA IN THE COLONY OF HONG KONG.

IN THE MATTER OF THE MERCHANDISE MARKS ORDINANCE, 1890.

No. 1184.-Whereas it has been proved upon oath to the satisfaction of me the undersigned THOMAS JACKSON HOUSTON a Police Magistrate as follows:-

1. That four large cases containing 12 small boxes of 500 bottles each of Sze Tak Chce Anti-Cholera liquid medicine (Z) have been seized at 9 Wing Sing Street, ground floor, on the 4th December, 1939, pursuant to a warrant granted under my hand and seal and that the said cases are now in the custody of the Police.

2. That the owner of the said cases and their contents is reputed to be one

CHAN ON of Sun Hing Lung firm of Macau.

3. That such owner is liable to be convicted of an offence against the Merchan- dise Marks Ordinance in respect of the contents of the said cases.

NOW I HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that at 12 noon on Wednesday, the 20th day of December, 1939, I shall proceed to the confiscation of the above goods unless good cause is shown to the contrary by the said CHAN ON or other fit party.
