No. 1012. His Excellency the Governor has been pleased, under instructions from the Right Honourable the Secretary of State for the Colonies, to appoint Messrs. THOMAS EDWARD JACKSON, M.I. Mar. E., M.I.N.A., and GEORGE SWAN, M.N.E.C. Iust., to be Senior Surveyors of Ships with effect from the 1st January, 1939.

The King's Exequatur empowering Monsieur NEBIL SÜREYYA AKÇER to act as Consul-General of Turkey in London, with jurisdiction in the Colonies, Protec- torates, and Mandated Territories the Mandate for which is exercised by His Majesty's Government in the United Kingdom, with the exception of Cyprus, Palestine and Trans- Jordan, has received His Majesty's signature.
