With reference to Government Notification No. 192 in the Gazette No. 15 of the 27th March, 1931, notice is hereby given that the Paris Convention amending the International Sanitary Convention, 1926, has been ratified by His Majesty's Government and came into force on the 24th July, 1939. A copy of the Convention may be inspected at the Colonial Secretary's Office.

IN THE MATTER OF THE ALIEN ENEMIES (WINDING UP) ORDINANCE, No. 28 of 1914.

By order of His Excellency the Governor dated the 19th day of October, 1939, Mr. SYDNEY HAMPDEN ROSS of Messrs. Percy Smith, Seth & Fleming was appointed liquidator of the affairs of Mr. Ernst Sauerland formerly of Messrs. Steel Union China Co., Hong Kong.
