No. 918. His Excellency the Governor has been pleased, under section 3 (1) of the Vaccination Ordinance, 1923, Ordinance No. 12 of 1923, to appoint Miss MAY WONG ()to be a Public Vaccinator, with effect from 2nd October, 1939.

Mr. JOHN PATRICK SHERRY to be temporarily Captain.

No. 922.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to approve that Colonel LENNOX GODFREY BIRD, D.S.O., O.B.E., be allowed to resign his Commission in the Hong Kong Volunteer Defence Corps, with effect from 28th September, 1939.
