It is hereby notified for general information that on the accession by Ilis Majesty in respect of Newfoundland to the Convention for the unification of certain rules relating to international carriage by air, 1929, His Majesty in Council has revoked the Carriage by Air (Parties to Convention) (No. 3) Order, 1938, published in the Gazette of 17th February, 1939, as Government Notification 137, and substituted a new Order, namely the Carriage by Air (Parties to Convention) Order, 1939, copies of which may be seen on application at the Colonial Secretary's office.
The schedule to the new Order is similar to that in the 1938 (No. 3) Order, now revoked, save that the following item is added immediately after the item relating to Trans- Jordan-
His Majesty, the King of Newfoundland.
Great Britain, Ireland
and the British Domin- ions beyond the Seas. Emperor of India.

With reference to Government Notification 917 of 20th November, 1936, it is hereby notified for general information that the Government of Greece have acceded to the Inter- national Convention regarding the Taxation of Foreign Motor Vehicles, 1931, with effect from 6th December, 1939.
