MEDICAL DEPARTMENT.

No. 852.-Wanted two Probationer Lady Assistant Almoners for training under the direction of the Almoner.

2. The particulars and qualifications required are as follows :-

(1) Chinese race.

(2) British subject.

(3) About 25 years of age.

(4) Passed the Hong Kong University Matriculation Examination or its equivalent. Preference will be given to University graduates though the applications of candidates not having this qualification will be considered.

(5) Able to speak and read English and Cantonese fluently.

(6) Applicants to serve as unpaid pupil almoners for three months before appointment, and appointment to be dependent on abilities shown in that period.

(7) Salary-$1,440 to $1,740 by $60 annually with rent allowance of $30 per

month.

3. Applications with copies of testimonials as to character and certificates of educa- tion to be forwarded to the Director of Medical Services. Post Office Building, 3rd floor on or before 1st October, 1939.
