ORDINANCE No. 18 of 1936. (TELECOMMUNICATION).
In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 7 (2) (a) of the Telecommunication Ordinance, 1986, the Governor in Council makes the following amendments to the rates published in Notification No. 235 in the Government Gazette of 31st March, 1939, as amended by G.N. No. 594 in the Government Gazette of 28th July, 1989.
Amendments.
1. Regulation 2 (1) (a) is amended by substituting the figures "70" for the figures "60" before the word “cents”.
2. Regulation 2 (1) (b) is amended by substituting the figures "80" for the figures "70" before the word “cents”.
3. Regulation 3 is amended by substituting the figures
for the figures "45" in the fourth line thereof. The above rates shall come into force on 22nd September,
1939.

ORDINANCE No. 32 of 1939. (COMPULSORY SERVICE).
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (6) of section 11 of the Compulsory Service Ordinance, 1939, the Governor in Council makes the following regulations :-
Hong Kong Defence Reserve Regulations.
1. Any Organizer appointed, whether before or after the publication of these Regulations, as Organizer either of the key-post group or of the general group for essential services of the Hong Kong Defence Reserve shall have power to organize his group into sections.
2. Any member of either group shall be liable to be assigned to any section of that group or to be transferred from one to another of the sections thereof at the discretion of its Organizer.
3. Every member of either group, whether voluntarily enrolled or not, who obstructs or fails to comply with any such assignment or transfer or who otherwise commits a breach of these regulations, shall be liable on summary con- viction to a fine not exceeding two hundred and fifty dollars and to imprisonment for any term not exceeding six months.
