3. Sub-section (6) of section 9 of the Trading with the Enemy Ordinance, 1914, is repealed.

4. Section 10 of the Trading with the Enemy Ordinance, 1914, is amended by the substitution of the words

66 under section 8 or section 9" for the words "under this section or section 8" in the second line.

No. 823.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint WILLIAM JOHN ANDERSON, Esq., to be Stores Controller in place of the Hon. Mr. SYDNEY CAINE.

This notification cancels the appointment of the Hon. Mr. CAINE notified by Government Notification No. 744 published in the Gazette Extraordinary of the 4th September, 1939.
