WHEREAS it is provided by sub-section (2) of section 3 of the Trading with the Enemy Ordinance, No. 25 of 1914, that the Governor may by order direct that any person specified in the order shall for the purposes of that Ordinance be deemed to be, while so specified, an enemy :
AND WHEREAS by section 2 (1) (f) of the said Ordin- ance person is defined as including a body corporate and a firm:
NOW I, Sir GEOFFRY ÁLEXANDER STAFFORD NORTHCOTE, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of Hong Kong and its Dependencies and Vice- Admiral of the same, IIEREBY DIRECT that the following persons shall be deemed to be enemies for the purposes of the said Ordinance :-
REUTER, BROECKELMANN & COMPANY, Shanghai,
Canton, Tientsin, Tsingtao and Peiping.
