DEFENCE (FINANCE) REGULATIONS, 1939.

Order.

In exercise of the powers conferred by Regulations 2 (2) of the Defence (Finance) Regulations, 1939, His Excellency the Governor hereby orders that-

Bank Notes which are legal tender in Hong Kong and

also--

Bank Notes of the Central Bank of China

Bank Notes of the Bank of China

Bank Notes of the Bank of Communications

Bank Notes of the Farmers' Bank of China

Bank Notes of the Kwang Tung Provincial Bank

shall be exempt from the provisions of Regulations 2 (1), 2 (3) and 2 (4) of the said Regulations.
