ORDINANCE No. 18 of 1936.

(TELECOMMUNICATION).

In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 7 (2) (a) of the Telecommunication Ordinance, 1936, the Governor in Council makes the following amendments to the rates published in Notification No. 235 in the Government Gazette of 31st March, 1939.

Amendments.

1. Regulation 2 (1) (a) is amended by substituting the figures "60" for the figures "55" before the word "cents".

2. Regulation 2 (1) (b) is amended by substituting the figures "70" for the figures "65" before the word "cents".

3. Regulation 3 is amended by substituting the figures "45" for the figures "40" in the fourth line thereof.

ORDINANCE No. 20 of 1958. (WATERWORKS).

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 29 of the Waterworks Ordinance, 1938, the Governor in Council makes the following amendment to Appendix 1 of the Schedule to the Waterworks Ordinance, 1938.

Amendment.

The proviso at the foot of the first paragraph of Appendix 1, "Price of Water", is rescinded and the follow- ing proviso is substituted therefor :-

Provided that if any account remains unpaid after the date notified by the Water Authorities in such account as the date by which payment of such account is to be made, the sum payable shall be increased by twenty-five cents if it is not more than five dollars, and by ten cents for every two dollars or part thereof if it is more than five dollars.
