a Bill intituled "An Ordinance to amend the Pensions Ordinance, 1932."

On Council resuming, the Attorney General reported that the Bill had passed through Committee without amendment, and moved that it be read a third time.

15. The Council then adjourned sine die.

Ordinance No. 15 of 1939.-An Ordinance to authorize the Appropriation of a

Supplementary sum of three million four hundred and twenty-six thousand two hundred and forty- three dollars and forty-eight cents to defray the charges of the year 1938.

Ordinance No. 16 of 1939.-An Ordinance to amend the Prevention of Cruelty

to Animals Ordinance, 1935.
