No. 568.-Ilis Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. GEORGE STACY KENNEDY-SKIPTON to be the Chief Assistant to the Secretary for Chinese Affairs, with effect from the 11th July, 1939.

No. 569. His Excellency the Governor has been pleased, under instructions from the Right Honourable the Secretary of State for the Colonies, to appoint Mr. ERIC LIONEL CLEGG to be an Assistant Auditor, with effect from 5th July, 1939.

No. 570.- His Excellency the Governor has been pleased, under instructions from the Right Honourable the Secretary of State for the Colonies, to appoint Miss MARGARET SCOTT WATSON, B.Sc., Certificate of the Institute of Hospital Almoners, to be European Lady Almoner, with effect from 5th July, 1939.

No. 571-His Excellency the Governor, under instructions from the Secretary of State for the Colonies, has been pleased to recognize Mr. CEDRIC BLAKER as honorary Vice-Consul for Sweden at Hong Kong.
This notification is issued in substitution for Government Notification No. 358 pub- lished in the Gazette on the 5th May, 1939, which is hereby cancelled.
