ORDINANCE No. 7 of 1936. (QUARANTINE & PREVENTION OF DISEASE).
Pursuant to Regulation 4 of the Quarantine (Measures on Departure) Regulations, 1939, published in the Government Gazette Extraordinary of the 28th day of June. 1939, as G.N. No. 522 the Governor in Council makes the following declaration :-
(1) The provisions of Regulations 3 (b) and (e) of the said regulations shall apply to all vessels bound for Macao.

NOTICE
to ships and passengers bound for Macao.
MEDICAL DEPARTMENT,
28th June, 1939.
It is hereby notified for general information that under the Quarantine (Measures on Departure) Regulations, 1939, published in Government Gazette Extraordinary of the twenty-eighth day of June, 1939, as G.N. No. 522, all passengers from Hong Kong to Macao must be in possession of valid certificates of inoculation against cholera. A valid certificate is one which:
(1) shows that the holder has been inoculated not less than six days and not more than six months before embark- ing,
(2) bears a photograph of the holder attached and chopped with an official seal, and
(3) is signed by a Health Officer or other Government Medical Officer of this Colony or by any authority outside this Colony approved by the Director of Medical Services.
