MOTIONS.
4. Town Planning Bill.-The Attorney General addressed the Council and moved the First reading of a Bill intituled “An Ordinance for the promotion of the health, safety, convenience and general welfare of the community by making provision for the systematic preparation and approval of plans for the future lay-out of existing and potential urban areas as well as for the types of building suitable for erection therein."
The Colonial Secretary seconded. Question-put and agreed to.
Bill read a first time.
5. (1938 Supplementary) Appropriation Bill.-The Financial Secretary moved the Second reading of a Bill intituled "An Ordinance to authorize the Appro- priation of a Supplementary sum of three million four hundred and twenty- six thousand two hundred and forty-three dollars and forty-eight cents to defray the charges of the year 1938." The Colonial Secretary seconded.
