I have the honour to refer to your telegram No. 128, dated the 19th of April, requesting that an expression of the Colony's deep regret and sympathy on account of the death of Lieutenant-Colonel the Right Honourable Sir MATTHEW NATHAN, G,C.M.G., might be conveyed to his nearest relative, and to inform you that Lady NATHAN, sister- in-law of Sir MATTHEW NATHAN, has asked me to convey to you an expression of the grateful thanks of his relatives for your telegram of sympathy, the terms of which were conveyed to them through her.
