An Ordinance to amend further the Prevention of Eviction Ordinance, 1938, as amended by the Prevention of Eviction Amendment Ordinance, 1939.

BE it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows:

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Prevention of Eviction (No. 2) Amendment Ordinance, 1939.

2. Section 8 of the Prevention of Eviction Ordinance, 1938, as renumbered by section 3 of the Prevention of Eviction Amendment Ordinance, 1939, is amended by the substitution of the words "first day of June, 1940," for the words "first day of June, 1939,".
