In accordance with regulation 8 of the Regulations as to grant, forfei- ture, restoration and other matters concerning The Efficiency Medal in regard to the Hong Kong Volunteer Defence Corps, published as Notification No. 579 in the Gazette of 2nd August, 1935, His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to authorize the following award :-

At an Enquiry under the provisions of the Medical Registration Ordinance, 1935, held at the Urban Council Chambers on the 24th March, 1939, into certain conduct in a professional respect of Dr. No YEOK-KIN on the 7th day of July, 1938, the Medical Board recorded a finding thereon and that the said Dr. NG YEOK-KIN be censured but refrained from giving a direction for his name to be struck off the Medical Register.
