ORDINANCE No. 12 of 1923.

(VACCINATION).

It is notified for the information of owners, charterers and masters of ships arriving in the Colony that, in exercise of the powers conferred by regulation 9 of the Regulations made under the Vaccination Ordinance, 1923, and published as Government Notification No. 103 in the Gazette of the 19th February, 1932, the Harbour Master directs that the fee of twenty cents prescribed in the said regulation for the performance by a public vaccinator of the operation of vaccination upon any passenger on any ship arriving in the Colony shall be collected from the passenger by the master of the ship and shall be forthwith paid to the Harbour Master.

Note-Regulation 9 reads as follows:-

9. When any person who has arrived in the Colony on board ship and who desires to land in the Colony is required by the Health Officer of the Port to be vaccinated or re-vaccinated before landing and the operation is performed by a public vaccinator a fee of twenty cents shall be paid for the operation to the Harbour Master in such manner as the Harbour Master shall direct.
