No. 223.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased, under the provisions of Statute 4 of the Second Schedule of the University Ordinance, 1911, Ordinance No. 10 of 1911, to nominate Mr. STUART TAYLOR WILLIAMSON as a Member of the Court of the University of Hong Kong during the absence from the Colony of Mr. GEOFFREY SAMUEL ARCHBUTT, with effect from 17th March, 1939.

No. 224.-Ilis Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint under section. 3 (9) of Ordinance No. 7 of 1935, Mr. WILLIAM NGARTSE THOMAS TAM and Mr. Benjamin WONG TAPE to be Members of the Urban Council for a further term of three years, with effect from 30th March, 1939.

No. 225.--Ilis Excellency the Governor has been pleased, under section 3 (1) of the Vaccination Ordinance, 1923, Ordinance No. 12 of 1923, to appoint Miss TSANG SHUK CHING(X) to be a Public Vaccinator, with effect from 16th March, 1939.

No. 226.-The King's Exequatur empowering Mr. AKIYOSHI TAJIRI to act as Consul-General of Japan at Hong Kong has received His Majesty's signature.
