ORDINANCE No. 7 of 1926. (POST OFFICE).
By virtue and in exercise of the powers vested in him by the Post Office Ordinance, 1926, and of all other powers him enabling, the Governor in Council hereby amends the Class A rates of postage published as Government Notification 657 in the Gazette of the 26th August, 1938, as follows :-
Amendments.
1. The heading "Inclusive Rates by sea to Hanoi or Saigon and by Air France Air Mail Services onwards" is deleted and the heading "Inclusive Rates by Air France Air Mail Services" is substituted therefor.
2. Immediately before Rate No. 21, under the above substituted heading, an additional Rate No. 20A is inserted and opposite thereto in the second column the words "Indo China” and in the third and fourth columns the figures $0.25 and $0.15 respectively are inserted.
3. Opposite Rate No. 22 the figures $1.50 and $0.75 are substituted for the figures $1.20 and $0.50 respectively in the third and fourth columns.
4. Immediately before Rate No. 24 relating to the Inclusive Rates by Imperial Airways Air Mail Services an additional Rate No. 23A is inserted and opposite thereto in the second column the words "Indo China" and, in the third and fourth columns, the figures $0.25 and $0.15 respectively are inserted.
The above amendments shall take effect as from the Tenth day of March, 1939.
