With reference to Government Notification No. 85 of 1939, and pursuant to Rule 3 in Schedule C to the (repealed) Public Health and Buildings Ordinance, 1903, it is hereby notified that Dr. CHAU SEK-NIN, M.B., B.S., D.O.M.S., D.L.O. (London), being the only candidate duly nominated to fill the vacancy referred to in the above Notification has been duly elected as a member of the Urban Council, with effect from the 8th February, 1939.
