Position (approximate).-The Light-Vessel will be moored in about 20 fathoms of water, at a distance of 20 miles, 240° (S. 55° W. Mag.), from Merkara Shoal.
Lat. 10° 40′ S.; Long. 140° 55′ E. on Chart No. 447.

Remarks.The light will be unwatched.

Lighter "Swallow", sunk off Taku Bar.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Lighter "Swallow" lies sunk in about 18 feet of water off Taku Bar.
From the North Fort Cavalier the sunk Lighter bears about S. 69° E., magnetic, distant 7-16 sea miles. From the position of the Taku Light-vessel the sunken Lighter bears about N. 42° W., magnetic, distant 1'4 sea miles.
