REFERRING to Harbour Notification No. 1 of 1918, Notice is hereby given that, the Superintendent of Customs and the Treaty Power Consuls having withdrawn the declara- tion of infection against Hongkong, the medical inspection of vessels arriving therefrom is discontinued.

NOTICE is hereby given that the discontinued fog siren at Shiokubi Zaki Lighthouse, on Shiokubi Zaki, N. side of Tsugaru Strait, Hokkaido, (see Notification No. 773 of Department of Communications, June, 1918) will, being reconstructed, give blasts of 5 seconds' duration separated by silent intervals of 60 seconds, on and after the 1st of September, 1918, thus :---
