The successful tenderer will be required to sign a formal contract containing conditions to be prescribed by the Board and also to give security by depositing a sum of $200 in the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation in the name of the Colonial Treasurer; fail- ing compliance with these requirements the sum deposited by the tenderer will be forfeited.

No. S. 242.-It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in duplicate, which should be will clearly marked "Tender for the supply of labour for the burial of infectious corpses", be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Tuesday, the 8th day of October, 1918, for the supply of labour for the burial of infectious corpses for the period of one year from the 1st January next.

Tenderers must produce a receipt that they have deposited in the Treasury the sum of $50 as a pledge of the bonâ fides of their tender, which sum shall be forfeited to the Crown,
