No. 11 OF 1918.

Lower Swinging Berth.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Lower Swinging Berth is now available for the use of vessels.

As a certain amount of dredging has still to be done at the swinging berth and at the opposite side, Shipmasters intending to swing their vessels there should notify the Harbour Master at least one hour beforehand so that instructions may be given to move the dredger and keep the swinging berth clear.

SHANGHAI DISTRICT-YANGTZE RIVER.

Entrance to the Whangpoo Lismore Flats.

Lismore Light-boat Discontinued; Light-buoy Established.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Lismore Light-boat, moored off the northern edge of the Lismore Flats, southern side of the entrance to the Whangpoo, Yangtze River, has been discontinued.

In its place a black Buoy, gas-lighted, with a black spherical daymark surmounting the lantern, has been established.

This Buoy will exhibit an occulting white light every 8 seconds, thus:-
