Limit and colour of sectors: fixed white illuminating 270°; the axis of the

sector illuminated passes through the line N. 34° W.

Remarks:-

Route to follow during the night: After reaching N. of the Island of Nao- Tcheou, take the line N. 1° E. determined by the Lighthouse and the light No. 1, follow same until the intersection of the line determined by the new light and the light No. 2 of the Green Hill; take this new line; follow the same until point C defined in the Notice to Mariners published in the "Journel Officiel de l'Indo-Chine" of the 2nd June, 1918, page 783, and continue the route as indicated in the same Notice.

The Astronomical positions are only approximate unless seconds are given. The bearings are given both True and Magnetic, and those relating to lights are from seaward. The visibility of lights is that in clear weather. Fog signals are sounded only in thick or foggy weather. The elevation given is the height of focal plane above high water.

Spencer Gulf.

Jarrold Point-Bell Buoy replaced by Can Buoy.

MARINERS and others are hereby notified that the Bell Buoy moored off Jarrold Point has been replaced by a Can Buoy, painted red, surmounted by a staff and ball.

The Bell has been discontinued.

Position --Lat. 33° 164' S., Long. 137° 46′ E.

Description :--Can Buoy, painted red, surmounted by a staff and ball.

Charts affected:-Admiralty Chart No. 403-Wood Point to Lowly Point.
