Kimpai Middle Ground Southern Channel.

Buoy Moved.
NOTICE is hereby given that the red conical Buoy moored on the northern side of the channel to the southward of the Kimpai Middle Ground, Min River, has been moved owing to a large portion of the shoal having been washed away during recent freshets.
From the new position of the Buoy, the headland on the southern side of the Kimpai Pass bears N. 83° E., magnetic, distant 412 cables. The characteristics of the Buoy remain unchanged.

NOTICE TO MARINERS, No. 15.
Kiungchow District, Hainan Island.
REFERRING to Notice to Mariners No. 14 of the 10th instant, notice is hereby given that the work on the Beacon at Hainan Reef has been completed and that the Reef Buoy has been removed from her position marking the Hainan Reef.
The characteristics of the Beacon are the same as those given on the previous Notice to Mariners:
A concrete base 10 ft. square by 6 ft. high, surmounted by a black painted steel cylinder 8 ft. high by 2 ft. diameter, with a total height of 12 ft. of the structure show- ing above high water.
From the Beacon, Hainan Bluff-summit-bears S. 48° W, magnetic, distant 119 miles, and vessels should pass the Beacon at a distance of not less than 3 cables to the north of it.
