OTICE is hereby given that an Extra- ordinary General Meeting of THE BANK OF ASIA LIMITED will be held at the Company's Office Nos. 186 and 188, Des Voeux Road Central, Victoria. Hongkong, on the 24th day of June, 1918, at 3 o'clock in the afternoon when the subjoined resolutions will be proposed:

1. That it is expedient to effect an amal- gamation of this Company with the Bank of Canton Limited and that with a view thereto this Company be wound up voluntarily and that Li Pọ Kwai and Wong Pik Tsin be and they are hereby appointed liquidators for the purpose of such winding up. 2. That the conditional agreement of the 23rd day of March, 1918, entered into on behalf of this Company by Li Yuk Tong, Li Po Kwai and Wong Pik Tsun with the said Bank of Canton Limited be and the same is hereby approved, and that the said liquidators be and they are hereby authorised and directed to adopt the said agreement and carry the same into effect with such, if any, modifications as the said liquidators may think expedient. Should the resolutions be passed by the requisite majority they will be submitted for confirmation as a special resolution to a further Extraordinary General Meeting which will be held on Tuesday, the 9th day of July, 1918, at the same time and place.
