(2. Such order may be made either against the owner or against die person appetring to have the custody of the dog.
(3) If the person against whom the order is made fails to comply therewith he shall be liable to a penalty not exceeding ten dollars for every day on which he fails to comply there- with.

Section 19 of the principal Ordinance is amended of Ordinance by the deletion of the figures and words 100 dollars. or to imprisonment without hard labour for any term not exceeding 14 days' in the third and fourth lines thereof, and by the substitution therefor of the words **two hundred and fifty dollars or to imprisonment for any term not exceeding three months ".

17. Section 36 of the principal Ordinauce is amended as follows:
(1) The word "being" in the third line thereof is deleted and the words "having heen substituted therefor

(h). The words and figures "penalty not exceeding 100 dollars, or to imprisonment for any term not exceeding 14 days" in the sixth and seventh lines thereof are deleted and the words "fine not exceeding two hundred and fifty dollars or to imprisonment for any term not exceeding three mouths are substituted therefor.
18. Section 38 of the principal Ordinance is amended of Ordinance as follows:
