Caution.
Vessels using this entrance must not approach the southern end of the Breakwater closer than 150 feet. When a red flag is exhibited on the southern end of the Break- water, vessels passing must proceed at a dead slow speed.
Notice is also hereby given that the Buoys which mark the Northern Entrance to the Inner Harbour (under construction) have been moved as follows :---
The black Buoy (Contractor's Buoy No. 1), gas-lighted, moored off the northern end of the Breakwater (under construction) has been moved, and from the new position of the Buoy Tower Hill Lighthouse bears S. 1° W., distant 3,900 feet.
The red Buoy (Contractor's Buoy No. 2), gas-lighted, moored off the eastern extremity of the Mole (under construction) has been moved, and from the new position of the Buoy Tower Hill Lighthouse bears S. 16° E., distant 3,040 feet.
Note.
The red Buoy (Contractor's Buoy No. 2) has been temporarily removed, its station being occupied by a Dredger at work. Vessels navigating the Northern Entrance must therefore pass to the eastward of the Dredger, which is not to be approached at a closer distance than 200 feet. When approaching the Dredger, vessels should proceed dead slow and continue doing so until finally past and clear. By night the Dredger will exhibit two powerful electric lights. So soon as the dredging has been completed, the Dredger will be removed and the red Buoy replaced at its station as advertised above.
