NOTICES.

COLONIAL SECRETARY'S DEPARTMENT.

No. S. 63. It is hereby notified that information has been received from H. B. M. Consul at Saigon to the effect that all vessels arriving from Hongkong will be inspected. Persons suspected of infection will be isolated and in such event the vessel will be disinfected. If any cases of cerebro-spinal meningitis are discovered the vessel and all passengers to Indo-China will be put in quarantine for six days and disinfected. There are no restrictions as regards loading and disembarking cargo.

No. S. 64.--It is hereby notified that information has been received from Shanghai to the effect that longkong has been declared an infected port and that all vessels arriving from Hongkong are to abide, and be governed, by the Sanitary Regulations for the port of Shanghai.

Hongkong declared an infected port on account of cerebro- spinal meningitis. All ships leaving Hongkong after 2nd March to call at Koh Phra to get pratique.

Quarantine imposed on all arrivals from Hongkong.

All passengers from Hongkong to produce special certificate.

All vessels arriving from Hongkong will be inspected. Per- sons suspected of infection will be isolated and in such event the vessel will be disinfected. If any cases of cerebro-spinal meningitis are discovered the vessel and all passengers to Indo-China will be put in quarantine for six days and disinfected. No restrictions as regards load- ing and disembarking cargo.

All vessels arriving from Hongkong are to abide, and be governed, by the Sanitary Regulations for the ports of Tientsin and Chinwangtao.
