Notification No. 172 of Department of Communications.

North West Coast of Honshu.

NOTICE is hereby given that the candle power of the light of Hino-Misaki Lighthouse, on Hino-Misaki, Province of Izumo, has been increased as follows since the 4th of February, 1918:-

Ilino-Misaki Lighthouse.

Power: 600,000 candles.

LOCAL NOTICE TO MARINERS, No. 186.

Lightship "Taku", Entrance Buoy, Bar Light-boat and

Spit Light-boat: replaced in position.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Lightship "Taku" was placed in position on the

19th instant.

The Entrance Buoy, Bar Light-boat and the Spit Light-boat will be placed in position on or about the 22nd instant.

When the Spit Light-boat is in position the lights on the River Mouth Leading Marks will be discontinued.
