No. S. 25.-It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in duplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for Road from Repulse Bay to Tytam Tuk", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 18th day of February, 1918, for improving and widening about 14 miles of the existing Road.

No work will be permitted on Sundays.

For form of tender, specification and further particulars apply at this Office.

The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.

NOTICE is hereby given that the order, the character and the candle power of the light of Seki-Zaki Lighthouse, W. side of N. entrance to Bungo Channel, have been changed as follows since the 14th of January, 1918 :-

Seki-Zaki Lighthouse.

Order and Character of light :-the 4th order, fixed white.

Power: 2,000 candles.

LOCAL NOTICE TO MARINERS, No. 12.

KIUNGCHOW DISTRICT.

NOTICE is hereby given that the S.S. Chongva sunk in 2 fatboms at low water of spring tides, S. 66° W., magnetic, off 10 ft. high Rock in Pochin Bay, distant & miles, with her portside, deck and houses showing above high water.

Vessels making for Pochin Bay for shelter are hereby cautioned.
