It is hereby notified that Government Notification No. 1303 published in the Gazette of the 29th November, 1940, is cancelled and the following substituted therefor :-

In exercise of the powers conferred on him by regulation 37 of the Defence Regulations, 1940, Ilis Excellency the Officer Administering the Government hereby makes the following order :-

Anchorage is prohibited to all craft within the following portion of Taitam Wan in the Waters of the Colony :-

Commencing in position latitude 22° 12′ 06′′ North, longitude 114° 13′ 15′′ East, thence by a straight line to position latitude 22° 13′ 52′′ North, longitude 114° 13′ 36′′ East, thence along the northern and castern shore of Taitam Wan to position latitude 22° 12′ 33′′ North, longitude 114° 14′ 26′′ East, thence by a straight line to the point of origin. ORDINANCE No. 32 of 1939. (COMPULSORY SERVICE).

His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government has been pleased, pursuant to Section 11 (7) of the Compul- sory Service Ordinance, 1939, to permit the following persons to quit the Hong Kong Defence Reserve :-

Clarke, Charles Edward, with effect from 30th Novem-

ber, 1940.

Watkins, Leslie William, with effect from 30th Novem-

ber, 1940.

Canaval, Gustav Charles, with effect from 3rd Decem-

ber, 1940.

Shore, Lewis Rudall, with effect from 3rd December,

1940.

4th December, 1940.
