In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Vehicles and Traffic Regulation Ordinance, 1912, the Governor in Council hereby amends the regulations made under the said Ordinance appearing on pages 723 to 803 of Volume II of the Regulations of Hong Kong (1937 Edition) as follows:
Amendment.
The amendment to Part I of Schedule A to the said regulations published in the Gazette of 29th December, 1939, as Government Notification 1203 (making St. John's Place, Garden Road a car park) is rescinded.

ORDINANCE No. 6 of 1928. (WATCHMEN).
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Watchmen Ordinance, 1928, the Governor in Council amends the Watchmen Regulations set forth in Government Notifica- tion No. 192 published in the Gazette of the 13th April, 1928. as follows:-
Amendments.
Regulations 10 and 11 are rescinded and the following are substituted therefor :-
10. Every police watchman of Chinese race, other than casual watchmen, shall during employment be entitled to pay at the rate of not less than 85 cents per day and every other police watchman, other than casual watchmen, shall during employment be entitled to pay at the rate of not less than $1.00 per day.
11. Every police head watchman shall during employ- ment be entitled to additional pay at the rate of $2.00 per month, over and above the pay set forth in Regulation 10.
