These amendments shall be incorporated and printed in the edition of the Regulations of Ilong Kong prepared under the Ordinances and Regulations of Hong Kong (1937 edition) Ordinance, No. 51 of 1936, and shall come into force on the date on which approval of the Third Volume of the Regulations of Hong Kong (1937 edition) is notified by pro- clamation under section 9 of Ordinance No. 51 of 1936.

ORDINANCE No. 5 of 1922. (EMERGENCY REGULATIONS).

The Governor in Council, considering that an occasion of emergency and public danger continues to exist, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 2 of the Emergency Regulations Ordinance, 1922, makes the following Regulations amending Regulation 37:-

Amendments.

(1) Regulation 37 (1) published in Government Noti- fication No. 902 in the Gazette of the 25th November, 1938, as amended by Government Notification No. 913 in the Gazette of the 13th October, 1939, is further amended by the addition of the following words after the words

"Crown land at the end thereof :-

"

"or remove, from any public place any bedding or any household or cooking utensils used therein or placed thereon without such authority, to any camp established under Regula- tion 34 and keep them there until claimed by the owner thereof. Any such bedding or utensils if not claimed within seven days after such removal, or within such further time as the Commissioner of Police or the Director of Medical Services may allow, may be destroyed or disposed of in such manner as he may direct".

(2) Regulation 37 (3) as renumbered by Government Notification No. 146 in the Gazette of the 7th February, 1940, is amended by the insertion of the words or property removed" after the words structure demolished".
