To the Owner of Survey District 11 Lots Nos 1678, 1679, 1880, 1881, 1682, 183, 1684, 1685, 1686, 1687 and 1688.

No. 1237.-Take notice that Survey District II Lots Nos. 1678, 1679, 1680, 1681, 1682, 1683, 1681, 1685, 1686, 1687 and 1688 are required for a public purpose and will be resumed on the expiration of one month from the date of the posting of this notice on the said land and that thereupon such compensation will be paid as may be awarded in the mammer provided by the Crown Lands Resumption Ordinance, 1900, as amended by the Crown Lands Resumption Amendment Ordinance, 1930, and further take notice that you are hereby called upon to nominate a member to serve on the Board of Arbi- trators to determine the amount of compensation to be paid in respect of such resump- tion, and that in the event of your failing to nominate a member to serve on the Board within one week after the hue of the expiration of this notice then the hairman of the Board may nominate a member to serve on your behalf.

It is hereby notified for general information that, pursuant to section 5 of the Criminal Procedure Ordinance, 1899, His Honour the Chief Justice has ordered that the next Criminal Sessions for the despatch of the business of the Court shall be held on Saturday, the 16th day of November, 1940, at 10.00 o'clock in the forenoon.
