I, The Controller of Trade, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by regulation 50 of the Defence Regulations, 1940, with the consent of His Excellency the Officer Adminis- tering the Government DO HEREBY FURTHER ORDER, with reference to the order under my hand dated the 27th July, 1940, relating to petrol and published as Government Notification No. 858 of the Government Gazette of the 27th July, 1940, as follows:-

Except with the consent in writing under my hand or under the hand of an officer of my department I HEREBY PROHIBIT the issue of petrol from a fuel service pump into any receptacle other than the tank of a motor vehicle.
