No. 1099.-His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government has been pleased, under Section 3 (2) of the War Revenue Ordinance, 1910, to appoint Mr. Cynu. van LANGENBERG to be an Assistant Commissioner, with effect from 1st October, 1940.
His Excellency has approved the relinquishment by Mr. KENNETH MYER ARTHUR BARNETT of his appointment as an Assistant Commissioner, with effect from the same date.

No. 1100.-The Right Honourable the Secretary of State for the Colouies has been pleased to approve the appointment of Mr. HECTOR WILLIAM FORSYTH, B.E. (Civil), Assoc. M.N.Z.Iust. E., Assoc. M.Inst., C.E, to be an Engineer, Public Works Department, with effect from 13th August, 1940, inclusive.
Mr. FORSYTH arrived in the Colony on 4th September, 1940, and assumed duty on 5th September, 1940.

No. 1101.-- His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government has been pleased, under Regulation No. 1 made by the Governor in Council under section 4 of the Nurses Registration Ordinance, 1931, Ordinance No. 1 of 1931, to appoint Miss MAUD WARD to be a Member of the Nurses Board for a further term of three years, with effect from 16th October, 1940.

No. 1102.-Ilis Excellency the Officer Administering the Government has been pleased, under Regulation No. I made by the Governor in Council under section 4 of the Nurses Registration Ordinance, 1931, Ordinance No. 1 of 1931, to appoint Dr. LEE HAH LIONG () to be a Member of the Nurses Board for a period of three years, with effect from 16th October, 1940.
