No. 1069.-Ilis Excellency the Officer Administering the Government has been pleased to appoint the Honourable Mr. STANLEY HUDSON DODWELL, provisionally and subject to His Majesty's pleasure, to be temporarily, during the absence of Sir HENRY EDWARD POLLOCK, Kt., K.C., LL.D., an Unofficial Member of the Executive Council, with effect from the 21st day of September, 1940.

No. 1070.-His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government has been pleased to appoint Mr. CECIL GRAHAM PERDUE, provisionally and subject to His Majesty's pleasure, temporarily to be a Member of the Legislative Council, during the absence on leave of Mr. THOMAS HENRY KING, or until further notice, with effect from the 21st September, 1940.

No. 1071.-His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government has been pleased under the powers conferred by section 4 (1) of the Compulsory Service Ordi- nance, 1939, No. 32 of 1939, to appoint Mr. EDGAR DAVIDSON to be a member of the Compulsory Service Tribunal in the place of Sir HENRY EDWARD POLLOCK, Kt., K.C., LL.D.
