Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows:

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Buildings Amend- ment Ordinance, 1940.

2. Paragraph (2) of the proviso to section 85 of the Buildings Ordinance, 1935, is amended by the substitution of the date" 1941" for the date "1940" at the end thereof.
