No. 995. It is hereby notified that during the absence of Mr. ANTONIO ALEXANDRINO ROSELLO BOTELHO, Consul for Ecuador at Hong Kong, Mr. PEDRO V. BOTELHO, Jr., will be in charge of the Consulate for Ecuador, until further notice.

With reference to Government Notification No. 219 of 10th April, 1931, His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government has been pleased to appoint Commander DOUGLAS HUGH STUART CRAVEN, R.N., to be a Member of the Harbour Advisory Committee, vice Commander ERIC VERNON LEES, R.N., resigned, with effect from 29th August, 1940.

It is hereby notified under the Defence (Finance) Regulations, 1940, that the following bank, having ceased to transact exchange business in the Colony, has been removed from the register of Chinese banks registered under Regulation 1 (1) (b) as permitted to sell Chinese currency and to remit money to China :----
