88. The Hong Kong and Shanghai Bank Ordinance. 1929.

(No. 6 of 1929.)

(1) Section 7. sub-section (2)--the words ", whether before or after such day as aforesaid, in the fourth and fifth lines are repealed.

(2) Schedule--

(1) Article HII, rule 7-the word "has" is substituted for "shall have" in the fourth line:;

(ii) Article IV, rule 6-the word "shall" in the eleventh line is repealed;

(iii) Article VI-the word "and" is inserted immediately after "goods," in the fifth line of the rule:

(iv) Article VIII-the word "enactinent" is substituted for "statute" in the second line of the rule.

Section 2-the word and figures to 1932,

are substituted for "and 1919" in the fourth line.

(1) Sections 3, 14 and 15 are repealed.

(2) Section 4, sub-section (1)-the words

after the commencement of this Ordin- ance, in the fifth and sixth lines are repealed.

(3) Section 5-

(i) the words

either before or after the commencement of this Ordinance,” in the first and second lines and after the commencement of this Ordinance or in the eighth line are repealed;

(ii) the words where the net value of any estate is less than one hundred dollars are substituted for all the words in the nineteenth line and paragraphs (a), (b) and (c).

(4) Section 6-the words "Accountant-General

ure substituted for shall in the fifth line.

Treasurer

(5) Section 7-the word "is" is substituted for "shall" in the fourth line, “Government” for *Treasurer in the fifth line, and bearing interest and deposited with the Accountant-General" for "deposited with him bearing interest" in the sixth line.

(6) Sections 8, 10 and 11 - the

words

*Accountant-General" are substituted for Treasurer in the fifth. the ninth and the penultimate lines respectively.
